What Hearsay does

Hearsay shows what Shopify’s AI catalog tells AI agents about your products, puts it next to your own copy, and flags claims you didn’t make. Installed stores are re-checked daily, with an email when a claim changes.

What it can’t do

We can’t edit Shopify’s summary, and nothing in Hearsay changes your store. Findings come from AI reviewers following our method. They can be wrong. Fix notes are suggestions, not advice.

Findings are a snapshot

Every finding is what Shopify’s catalog said when we checked. Shopify’s summaries and your listings both change, so a finding can be out of date by the time you read it. The date on each report and finding says when we checked.

Plans and billing

• Free costs nothing: 5 products, checked once a day, with an email when a claim changes. The free scan needs no install.
• Hearsay is $9/month or $90/year, for up to 250 products. Hearsay Plus is $19/month or $190/year, for up to 2,500.
• There’s no free trial. You’re billed through Shopify. You choose a plan in the app and approve its price on Shopify’s approval screen. You can switch plans, or go back to Free, in the app at any time. Uninstalling cancels your plan.

Fair use

Scan stores you run or work for. Don’t use Hearsay to overload a store or to publish findings about someone else’s brand.

Our limits

We work hard to get findings right, but we can’t promise every check is complete or current. Shopify’s catalog changes without notice. We aren’t responsible for decisions made on a finding alone. Read both versions.

Hearsay is independent and not affiliated with Shopify.
