Fair questions
- Why only 5 products for free?
- Checking a product properly takes real work on our end. Five is enough to see whether Shopify’s summary matches what you wrote. A paid plan covers the rest.
- What counts as a product?
- Each product in Shopify’s AI catalog counts once, however many variants it has. Drafts and archived products don’t count.
- Can Hearsay change what Shopify says?
- No. Nobody outside Shopify can edit its summary. We show you what it says, explain what’s off, and suggest changes to your own listing that may help.
- Is there a free trial?
- No. Free is free for good: 5 products, checked once a day, with an email when a claim changes. Paid plans cover the rest of your catalog.
- How am I billed?
- Through Shopify, on your usual Shopify bill. You pick a plan in the app, from Settings, and Shopify then shows its approval screen for the price. To stop paying, choose “Switch to Free” on the same Plans page. Uninstalling cancels your plan too.
- What if I have more than 250 products?
- On Hearsay we check 250 of them, the most recently updated first, and tell you in the app. Hearsay Plus covers up to 2,500. More than 2,500? Get in touch.
